Flighter Group began after our founder, Emily Thompson, gained firsthand experience serving as an interim Designated Employer Representative (DER) for an aviation company's Drug and Alcohol program. Following that experience, and through ongoing conversations with other DERs, HR leaders, and compliance teams, she saw a consistent pattern emerge: critical compliance work was still being managed through fragmented systems, manual processes, and excessive paperwork.

The result was slow workflows, avoidable risk, and teams spending more time managing compliance than operating their business.

Driven by a passion for efficiency and precision, Emily set out to create a better way.
